PS the HdM EL pyramids I have are 2003.

Correct 2003, I was looking at the Cohiba EL 2004 that were underneath that box, LOL

Dan posted yesterday on the CP, FB page about a Don Pepin Lancero that was blended for Puff's shop many moons ago. I knew that I had gotten a box of those but hadn't smoked any in a long time. Thanks Dan for the reminder of those cigars. The cigar was a very nice spice bomb!

I followed up my usual Fabuloso with something called "Leaf by Oscar" and am about halfway into it now. Delicious. It comes wrapped in an entire cured tobacco leaf, kind of like a tamale. When you unwrap it there's a heckuva nice cigar inside!

Tried one of the '03 HdM pyramids and it was rather one dimensional. Very well constructed though. Then an '04 HdM Epicure Especial EL and the flavor a were much more robust and complex.

Smoked the 2004 Cohiba Sublime, EL 2004. Not a bad cigar that has aged better than the Hoyo. This cigar was lacking on the flavor spectrum until almost half way through.
