August 14th-18th for a conference. Should have one or two nights free, do we still have a Vegas contingent? Any cigar shops worth visiting other than Casa?

Check out that Davidoff Cigar Bar and report back to me whether it's worth my time to visit. Thanks in advance! ;)

Keep your eyes open for some two day old BBQ in the hotel trash can. That shit's worth the stygma!

I'm heading out there again in October. Heard decent things about the Montecristo Bar at Ceasar's. If you check it out, let us know what you think.

So I never made it up to the Davidoff Cigar Bar, but did stop at the Montecristo. It was a very nice place and I enjoyed smoking there much more than Casa. They had a pretty good selection of Bourbon and Scotch. I had a two ounce pour of H. L. Weller 12 year that was $20.

Mojitos were in the $14 dollar range.

The humidor wasn't huge and didn't have an overly large selection. The had a several boxes of San Cristabols, various Ashtons, AVOs, Padron and some Fuente Products. I chose a Hemingway Signature that end up around $19.50.

In conversation with the bartender he said they did not charge a cutting fee and you were free to bring your own cigars in. The staff was friendly and they were pretty dead when I went in around 11:30am. I spent a good bit of time B. S. about bourbon and beers.

The location was tricky to find. I was expecting it to be in the Forum shops and a looked for it on my pilgrimage to Casa Fuente. I end up asking about since I didn't see it on my travels. Turns out its almost straight back and about 100 feet off the Casino floor, acrossed from Nobu's entrance . The place has more industrial feel but is still warm and comfortable. As I mentioned above smoking here was a lot more enjoyable than at Casa.
