Need someone to run the Newbie Sampler Trade

It's been a while, I apologize. I missed you guys (not Kirk) and I'll try and be around more. James, great to see you are still around, hope the family is well. Matt, send me coffee and the rest of you mooks send me beer. :)

Don't ask Clint to send you beer, he'll F it up and break the damn bottles.

You're not going to live that one down.

Why do you think I asked for them to send to me and not the other way around?

I'm still pissed about that btw, I might as well have shipped it in a cement mixer to Okie.

Unlike others, I'm not going to waste my time thinking of something witty to write.

Doc

Doc, my daughter is looking at Dartmouth for college. Are you running any flatlander boarding specials by any chance? And what the hell? Couldn't they put that place further from civilization? And that's coming from an Iowan.

What the hell are you talking about? Hanover is the cultural center of the universe. You sure she's your daughter? Kinda smart for your offspring.

Doc

I have forbidden any paternity tests and our mailman was Indian, so my story is she's my daughter and that's what I'm sticking to. At this point flying into Logan and renting a car is looking like the best bet for a campus visit. A three hour drive from the nearest airport is not exactly the center of anything. Again, I'm from Iowa, you'll lose this argument. I'll need an escort out of Logan, with all the Irish around you simply can't be too careful.

Can't you fly into manchester? That will make it a 1hr and 20 min. Plus Manch is a much easier airport than logan. There are hotels in Manchester/concord/ and smaller spots out by the college. When you traveling out here? Now is the best time to visit northern NE.

Ps welcome back.
Paul

Hey Paul, good to see you. Flying out of Des Moines "International" Airport has limited options. The flights to Manchester had about 37 connections each way, Logan was just one and much cheaper. I don't think we'll get out there before Christmas break so we are looking at spring. She's a junior so we have some time yet.

Just remember, we have hills and curves; two things you probably aren't used to. Oh, Boston is not laid out the way you're used to. It's not called the hub for nothing.

If you find some Heady Topper, buy it for me. It's in cans, so no worries about it breaking during shipping.

She could look at our University, ETH, we aren't too shabby and have better hills than Dartmouth.

Holy cow, you're in Zurich now?? Good God man, just Googled your school, what an institution! That might be a bit over her level. She's looking at Univ. of Chicago, Dartmouth, Washington Univ in St. Louis and maybe Georgetown. She wants to go into forensic pathology, so as much as I hate to admit it, Doc is probably right. She's adopted.
