I just rebuilt my PC, and went to install Picasa. Apparently Google has decided to retire the software, and doesn't allow you to download it any longer. This infuriates me, as I have thousands of photos starred/tagged, which I've now lost.

What's a good alternative photo management application?

Thanks...

Just use Google Photos and be up to date with the Free solutions. I use Google Photos by default for my phone cam photos. I use Adobe for my "good" photos. CreativeSync is outright amazing.

Moving on from Picasa?
We’ve decided to retire Picasa in order to focus on a single photo service in Google Photos – a new, smarter photo app that works seamlessly across mobile and the web.

Where can I find my photos?
If you have photos or videos in a Picasa Web Album, the easiest way to still access, modify and share most of that content is to log in to Google Photos. Your photos and videos will already be there.
