Gary, you'll never believe this but, on my way home the other night I saw a car so very much like yours (except for the lack of a racing engine) for sale along a road.  The paint job was very close.  $55.000.00 I believe was the asking price.  If I get by there again in the next couple of days, I'll take some pictures, if it's still there.

Well....it's still in PA. It's at a tuner we're using down there. It seems the 'hat' is designed for close or WFO.
 
Well, that's too much air for drivability so....we wait. We wait for Hilborn to run some 'hat cups' that fit inside the scoop and block the port. We'll have 2 or three in there.
They won't be noticed when the care is on display...and who cares when your behind the wheel!

Wow - it's been a while!
 
Well, the car has been to a couple show (Won Best in Class at Good Guys in PA this year)...then at the show last month in Maryland, something went wrong. 
Wouldn't start, etc. Appear to be a short. 
The good news...it's home! 
We'll start the real 'shakedown' of it this week...and iron out the kinks.
I did drive it around the block...and it has some serious sack!!!!!

Oh - the rims have been changed out since those pics...the new ones are a better, updated 'fit'.

Ironed out a few things (amp ground was loose and stuff like that).
Now onto some local car shows - and one on Long Island in June.

Well...while doing some tuning...we seem to have lost the crank pull or dampener...not sure what's up yet.

We were set up to have our tuner work remote (he's in WI)...and things were going great. We were on the 3rd or 4th time working with him (about 2 hr blocks)...when yesterday went south.

The car has never been fully tuned to this point and we felt we were so close...then this happens.

Oh well...if it's got ti ts or ti res!
