I just couldn’t take it any longer. This smoke was calling me from the humi to put fire to it, so I grabbed it and headed to my spot under the walnut tree. A perfect afternoon for a long smoke; blues skies, nice breeze, low 80’s.

This was a well-constructed stick with a sticky, oily dark brown wrapper that had a barnyard smell. Was quite heavy in the hand, which I took to be from still being damp and not overfilled. A nice pigtail crowned the cap and the foot looked to have good bunching. I punched the head and the draw was a bit on the tight side, but not too much. Hopefully once it heated up it would open a little. I toasted the foot and immediately this cigar came to life. Oh wow. Fantastic flavor of rich, dark chocolate. Smooth, creamy, sweet. Dark roasted coffee beans. Sweet hay. Freshly cut red oak. The smoke was of medium strength, just right for me. The draw was a bit tight for the first few draws, however ¼” in it opened up to almost perfect. What a fantastic smoke! It did have one slight run to one side, however a quick adjustment with the torch worked it out.

The flavors remained consistent throughout the smoke. A deep, dark chocolate chock full of roasted nuts. I found no hint of this being a young smoke at all. Amazing!!

Great review!!! Thanks!

I had the lonsdale about a week back, and it was tremendous, with a very, very similar flavor profile. Mine was much stronger though...very full bodied.

I need to get me some more fast!

Damn that cigar looks good! Closest I got was a few puffs off of one of his culebras... :whistling: Guess you'll do anything when you are desperate.

Thanks for the review!

Great review Greg and quality pics. I had a lot of people ask me the size of this cigar. It is 6 5/8 X 50. John

Another excellent review Greg. The one and only Johnny-O was absolutely fantastic. Look these up if you can.
