I had been very much looking forward to putting fire to this smoke for some time and decided it was time. Construction was really good with a golden brown wrapper, however there was a good bit of green coloring, especially along the edges of the veins. I clipped the tapered cap and pre-draw was just a tad bit on the tight side, but not a problem.

With the foot torched I started to take a couple puffs and was a little concerned from the strange taste coming from the smoke. Once burning good I took a draw and got a very bitter, acrid flavor. I got a quarter in and the cigar was burning well, but there was nothing but a bitter, bland taste coming from this thing.

I smoked it down to a little over halfway hoping that something would change, but finally had to put it down as it was just completely awful. No flavor other than a bitterness, and the aftertaste was like the smell of paint thinner. I would have to say that this was up there with one of the worst cigars I’ve ever smoked. Ah well, can’t win ‘em all! :)

Wow, what a heart-breaker! Sorry buddy. It happens to the best of us.

I can't believe it was that bad though. :0

Thats a bummer. I saw the title of the thread and thought we were in for a good ride and then I got let down at the end....kind of like when you go out on a date looking to score and go home empty handed :(

That sucks. The ones I've had have been among the top 2 or 3 cigars I've smoked.

Just cause they are sought out or expensive, doesnt mean they are good. The main reason why I sold my 2 jars I had.

A very dry tasteing almost flavorless cigar. Though I feel the same way about the Monty jars also

Hal, got any 1492s or Wolter's BGMs that are bothering you right now?

Take another one out and smoke it and see if it has the same bad charateristics.

Wow sorry to here such a cigar was such a disappointment I can only hope it was a fake and the real deal is much better rp
