This is my second Tat Black, the first being a not so great experience due to an extremely loose draw. This one had a good weight in the hand and felt very firm when squeezed, so hoped the draw would be good on it. I punched the cap and the draw was perfect! After torching the foot, first draw was creamy vanilla with toasted nuts and a perfect amount of white pepper spice.

The burn was sharp with a mottled medium gray ash that held strong until I knocked it off. Flavors were incredible, and I mean downright fantastic! The smoke was cool and creamy, full of vanilla bean and rich roasted nuts. Spice was not over powering, but there in a perfect amount. Exhaling the medium bodied smoke through the mouth and nose left one of the best finishes I’ve tasted that was lasting on the palate.

I hated for this smoke to end and took it down until it burned my fingers. I will also add that after I put the nub down and stood up to go in, I had to actually sit back down. I was enjoying it so much, I hadn’t realized it had hit me so hard. Now that’s a good smoke! :D

Great review!!! I had the same experience with the loose draw on my first one I had but I haven't had a problem with the last couple and they're supper tasty

MMMMM. I wish I had picked up more when I had the chance. Down to 1 left. Thanks for the review.

I've only been lucky enough have one of these before someone came in and bought the ones reamaining in the jar. We have only had one jar shipped to us so I'm hoping we get some more someday soon. The one I had was really great. I would have saved the band if I knew I wasn't going to get another one for so long...grr...oh well. Nice review though!

The Corona Gorda is great, but I have to say the Robusto is my favorite. I only have one left and I am yearning for more.
