I unfortunately didn’t write a review while smoking this cigar, however going from memory it was one excellent smoke. The wrapper was a dull, medium brown with slight oil and a couple of veins running the length. The cigar was very firm when squeezed, had a good weight in the hand, and after punching the cap found the draw a bit on the tight side, however still had air flowing through.

I used the cedar sleeve pulled off the cigar to light it and really enjoyed the flavor brought on by the burning wood. Although the draw was slightly tight, there was still more than enough smoke coming through, which was a strong medium to almost full strength with a nice peppery spice on the tongue. Flavors were that of toasted bread, wood, and just a really good straightforward tobacco with a very nice, lasting finish on the palate.

Further in and the burn was sharp with a medium gray ash forming that held strong. The strength continued to be medium to full with good spice coming through. I wouldn’t say this was a very rich smoke, but simply a good, straightforward tobacco taste with the finish still lasting on the palate long after exhaling.

This was quite a long smoke (pun intended) that had sharp burn, good draw, delicious, straightforward tobacco flavor, and a lasting finish. Excellent cigar!
