It’s a lazy Saturday afternoon with a nice breeze blowing as I stretch out on the swing, feet up and laid back with my head on a couple soft pillows. Jess is out with me, playing in her sand box. I’ve put fire to a RYJ No. 2 tubo that has good spice and medium to almost full strength smoke that has a rich flavor I find floral/herbal, which is a typical profile to this marca. Holding the cigar in the sunlight, I can see a good bit of oil still in the medium brown wrapper leaf that has tiny hairs and minimal veins.

Admittedly, I didn’t write a review while smoking the cigar as I was simply enjoying the afternoon relaxing, almost drifting off at one point. Of course, Jess ensured I didn’t pass out completely. So, what I can say is that I thoroughly enjoyed yet another RYJ vitola A/T with sharp burn, perfect draw, rich delicious flavors and lasting finish. Was a wonderful afternoon!

Greg where do you smoke in winter?
I read somewhere that cigars tend to mess up when is really cold outside. I can't think
of where I'M going to smoke in winter.

In my car, with it running, the heat on, window cracked. Smoke goes right out, no problemo, plus I get to listen to some excellent jazz as well. ;)

Nice stick. I was able to enjoy one of these a few weeks ago with my brother in-law. It was his first CC and he was slightly let down. He is new to cigars and still was in that frame of mind that CC's are magically better than anything else out there. As we continued to smoke the cigars, the flavors really mellowed out and were tasty. Definitely a nubable cigar. Btw, great pics once again!
