Wasn't sure exactly where to post this but I was wondering if there would be another newbie training pass for those of us that didn't get in the February pass? I know we'd need a couple of FOG's to regulate everything and someone to co-ordinate it also. Thanks, Brian

Just wait around and be patient. Passes come along whenever someone wants to host one. I am sure there will be another one soon. Just be ready!

I'd love to but I'd be embarressed to send out a pass until my quality of inventory goes up. I'm doing the newbie sampler trade with jgohlke, and as soon as that one is completed I'm gonna do my second one to try and get a taste of different smokes.

If one isnt started up in the next few weeks, I will definitly start one, maybe a 16 stick 8 person noobie pass. I will start researching it more and shooting some PM's to make sure if it is me that initiates it that it runs smoothly and that I know all I need to before beginning. I will also start looking for the 8.

So why don't one of ya'll start one.

After reading through the February Newbie Training pass thread I thought we would need an experienced member to run the pass and maybe have one or two more added into the pass for everything to run smoothly. I'd be happy to try it, I just don't think I have the "know how" yet to run it myself.

Actually, SaxJazzMan started it, and he was just as new as the rest of us. He got one FOG involved, in the second spot, to make sure once he packed it up and sent it out, that everything was in order. So far everything has gone well, and there's only a couple spots left. It should be wrapped up in the next couple weeks, why not hold off until it's done, read through the whole thing to see how it went, and then start it off.

Sounds like a winner to me.

You could also borrow from Smokeyballs multi sack pass and invite others to put cigars in the start box to help you out.

I'd be willing to help organize the pass, if there were enough people to get involved.

Please get an experienced member to help administer the pass, if you choose to pursue this. It is important for the functionality of the pass, as well as its integrity and that of this board.
