This was a bonus smoke in a purchase I made a while back, and the first I've seen of John's smokes with a wrapper this light. Not just in color, but in texture as well. When I clipped the head, the wrapper was so thin and frail that it all but came right off, and I had to "glue" it back on. Once lit, I found the smoke to be quite mild with a delicious golden honey and toasted nuts. This was definitely a change of pace from the dark, medium bodied smokes I've come accustomed to. Very light bodied with not much spice. I enjoyed this smoke as it had good flavor, however I prefer the darker (stronger) vitolas as opposed to mild. Time to go bust out a coronas extra pigtail! :D

I'm starting to think you're personally keeping Johnny in business. :D

Great review. That stick looks almost as big as the Behique you reviewed the other day.

I smoked one of these night before last, but it had a dark wrapper. It was great. I really love the torpedos too.

I am surprised you guys have figured this one out already. Greg IS Johnny. Greg-O! just isn't as snappy. It's the only plausible explanation why he always has them.

edit to add: Great review. Great smoke. The dark wrapper is even better!!!
