The wish was granted 5 days ago, and apparently Gahau has not communicated at all to drunkfish3. That is not good. If you can't get a package out to someone at the agreed upon time, the best thing to do is communicate and let them know when you will be getting it out. Everyone has busy lives and something is bound to pop up now and again, but if you don't communicate, then no one knows what's going on. Five days without communication is too much, especially since it looks like he bought your wish the day after he granted it. I guess giving him the morning to make this right would be the best thing to do but after that, I would say Mr. Guterman seems willing and able to help him out. Drunkfish3, I'm sorry this happened. If I had the stick I would get it to you, but it sounds like another brother will help you out and repay your patience.

i was thinking that when he said he went to the store to buy it but i didn't want to make a big deal about it since i have not tried the 45th even though i really wanted the reserve.

However, DGuterman said he said Gahau a PM at 3:05am today. Gahau was last active at 6:54 this morning. I'd like to know from DGuterman if Gahau at least read the PM. If he did read it, and there's no response, we may have to figure out a way to move on.

Now that the 45th is out. The full name is "Family Reserve #45". This one has also been called just "45th".

In an effort to keep this moving.

If forum etiquite is not being violated I can fulfill the original request for 3 Sharks. I know this is a slippery slope and we do not want these wishes to spiral out of control so I completely understand if we want to keep a lid on this type of wish.

With that said I will defer to Whatever some of the FOG's think the best course. Either way is ok with me just let me know if you want me to get those sharkie's out or to pass.

If I could get a couple opinions on what to do that would be appreciated.

I understand what you're trying to do here and believe you are doing so with the best of intentions. However, forum etiquette is being violated and to fulfill that wish, as original stated would be condoning such behaviors. The MAW-PIF has been open to everyone as long as I have been here. New guys, myself included, sometimes have a hard time following. If you make an exception for person A, then what about person B, or the next...

This is a MAW PIF, so by all means....Wish. However, the whole issue of "granting" something you don't have is not a sound practice. Even if you're 95% sure you have it at home, wait to make sure. That might mean you miss-out that turn, but the concept is to grant a wish for else, not necessarily to have your wish granted.

Gotcha, I completely understand. I just saw this ting kind of sitting there and thats why I threw a feeler out there with the caveat of potentially creating a monster. No worries kind of felt that way myself so I will back off and we can proceed with the updated wish list.

sorry for the confusion the other PIF tread in the open passes forum was what i sent him a package for and he as not send his package out yet to Greg
