Another blue cheese fix for the addict in you.

Needed:

1 large onion
1/2 stick butter
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
2 steaks
heavy skillet

Cut onion into thick slices and then cut each slice in half
melt 1/2 stick butter in skillet
put onions in on med-high heat and start cooking until dark brown
once onions are cooked turn down heat and add cream
start cooking steaks
cook onion mixture until reduced by half
add blue cheese, stir in and cook until melted
once steaks are done take a big dollop of sauce on plate and place steak on top
if you want, put extra sauce on top of steak

Live large.

Will definitely try this, I love anything involving steak and blue cheese. Did black and blue burgers tonight and I still have maybe a quarter pound of blue left so......

will be trying this tonight but Im going to try a "healthier" version. I will be using smart balance or healthy balance "butter" and some sort of subsitute for heavy cream..hopefully.
