I put fire to the foot and take a number of good puffs that produces a good amount of smoke. With my first draw I find it mild in strength with no spice at all, the body seems almost full leaving an oily coat on the tongue. I’m thinking of a very mild coffee with a bit of ginger bread as far as flavor and exhaling slowly seems a bit bland in the very short finish.
Through the first half the burn is okay; however with the foot damage and cracks in the wrapper, I had to do a good bit of puffing, purging, and correcting to keep it going. Reaching the halfway mark and passing all the cracks, the burn becomes sharp and smoke flows well through the perfect draw. The strength continues to be mild with little to no spice at all and the flavors are just not my cup of tea, the finish very short.
I made it past the halfway mark and decided to put the cigar down as it just wasn’t enjoyable, simply too mild with not a lot of flavor. I’m wondering now if I should’ve smoked this when first received instead of letting it sit a couple years.
