I'm 94.566% sure the trouble is on my end, but if anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate them. Sometime Friday CP started acting funny for me. If you click on your user name at the top right of the page you usually get a drop down menu. Mine is stuck open and I cannot close it. My "Unread Notifications" are stuck open as well and I cannot close that either. I can hide it but that takes away Status Updates as well. If I attempt to view comments on Status Updates it simply takes me to the top of the Forums page. When I reply to a thread, the normal options above the reply aren't there. I. E. font, size, etc. I use the blue skin with Firefox. I've shut off my computer and restarted it and the same problems are still there and if I use the CP Default skin the problems are the same. If I use IE none of the problems occur. I really don't want to use IE. Anyone have any suggestions that would get me back to normal? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I had the exact same thing happen to me on Thursday Clint. Using Firefox myself.

I just logged out, cleared my cookies, etc. and it seemed to do the trick when I logged back on.

I've just been having trouble with the "view new content". I logged on this morning after not being on since yesterday morning and nothing showed up again for me. Seems to happen a couple times a week anymore.

Thanks John. I did the same (logged out, cleared cookies and logged back in) and same problems persist. I did manage to get the Unread Notifications to go away after viewing them on IE. I tried to use the search function and got this message which I've never seen before:

CalendarDateSelect Error: Prototype could not be found. Please make sure that your application's layout includes prototype.js (.g. <%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %>) *before* it includes calendar_date_select.js (.g. <%= calendar_date_select_includes %>).

I don't have a clue as to what that's telling me or if it's related, but I've never encountered it before.

I use Google chrome on my home machine. I have always been a Firefox Guy but I have really come to love chrome. Simple and feature rich like Firefox used to be.

Rod, I'm running 3.6.13 from what I can tell. I looked up that error message last night and found some talk about people getting the same error message when using an advanced search on other sites. They mentioned something about allowing Google APIs but then I saw something shiny and got distracted. I'm not sure why this started all of a sudden as I haven't changed much on my laptop.

Well, I ran an Adobe update and everything seems to be back to normal.

That's good. I'm not running any Google API's.

I'm having issues with IE8 myself. The pages are really wide, so much that I have a pretty good amount I have to side scroll through to see the page. If I view the page in compatibility mode, it fixes that, but then I get a wierd glitch where the text field when replying is the same light brown color as other parts of the site, and is all filled in as though it isn't there. If I click on where the field should be, it pops up.
