What a disgrace, it was just like the WWF, the referee is looking the other way and the fighter takes a shot, end of fight.

I'm upset at myself for falling for all the hype. It looked like Mayweather was telling Ortiz in his corner, "Don't worry buddy, we'll take 'em for 30 million EACH next time around." Ortiz just smiled and shook his head.

Not the way I wanted the fight to go down, but the ref did restart the fight. What was Ortiz thinking anyway?

I lost what little respect I had left for Mayweather with that stunt he pulled last night. If he considers himself to be the best to ever lace up them gloves *cough cough*, then he doesn't resort to sucker punching like that.

For the past 10 years I have put any broadcasts with Larry Merchant commentating on mute and just blasted music during the boxing fights. I'm glad I didn't last night. For Mayweather to say that Merchant doesn't know shit about boxing is ludicrous. "If I was 50 years younger, I would kick your ass myself." Best line I have ever heard Merchant say.

Too bad the "golden days" of prizefighting seem to be behind us.... I recall some of the great Tyson fights, before he jumped the shark, etc....

I'd have very much liked to take in a prize fight at Cesear's one of these years....perhaps not.

Bring back Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler et all. I used to love boxing, but I haven't give a rat's ass about it for awhile now.
