Anyone think this humidor is worth 400-500 dollars. 4 drawer burled walnut humidor made in Italy. I'm thinking of going to take a look at it. Posted Image

Yes, if it holds the humidity. Just ask plenty of questions.

IMO Chief, it looks good. Just ask lots of questions, check the seams. Word of advice, bring a dollar bill with you to check the seal. Ask the owner about the history, how he/she took care of it, check for water stains, etc.

Looks pretty classy, good find.

well i do agree with that. i am fighting with myself because this one just has the 4 drawers as the aristocrat humidors have a nice huge space on the bottom of the humidor. nothing sexier than seeing a bunch or cigar boxes stacked in your humidor, IMO.

Depends on what your looking to get. I know that Bob sells the Mini with a Cigar Oasis for only $547.00. I have a local friend that just purchased one. I tried to talk him into the set and forget, but he didn't want to spend the extra money.

The humi looks good from here, like they said wahy are they selling it ifis so nice. It really boils down to how much spare change you are willing to part with. It seems you want it, so buy it and let us know how nice it is!

Chief-

If you can swing for the Mini, do it. They absolutely worth the money. Mine has been running perfectly for a few years now.

Talk to Bob he can add a slide out draw if you need/want one. They you have a place for boxes and singles. Or store your singles in the desktops.

If you think you can wait until you can spring for the Mini, you wont regret.

Not saying the one you posted isnt worh the money. Just think about what you needs are.

Good Luck.

Damn guys. You know when you bring that girl home that looks really hot and then in the morning it's like whoa! Well pictures are deceiving. This humidor I just looked at is 1 1/2 ft by 1 1/2 foot. Haha! I was like umm I thought it was bigger?? She said no I gave you the dimensions. I said no you didnt so i looked again at the ad But alas the Craig's list had no dimensions. I wasn't gonna argue with her. Damn! Aristocrat here I come!

Thats where I got my humi, craigs. Call her back next month. She'll still have it. Work her down to 150 and you'll have a nice piece.

Quality humidors are expensive. I am building my new (Larger because I joined CP :whistling: ) humidor, and just for the wood it will be over $300.00. Then you add humidification. Boom, $500.

Quality isn't cheep.

Enjoy.

Chief, sorry to hear that. It didn't look that small from the picture. I kinda know how you feel as I wanted some box storage too - Its convenient. If you got the money go with Aristocrat as in the end you'll be happy and not sorry that didn't just settle. My only advice is to go bigger than what you want right now.

broblues got it right. "Quality isn't cheap" I spent some good money on just materials and the humidification unit.
