So on a previous thread i mentioned that i grabbed a Danby wine fridge for $40. Im going to be using it unplugged because it doesn't cool anymore. With this being said im going to use 3 jars of humidifying beads rated at 100 cigars each. is this sufficient enough to keep the fridge humidified? I already cleaned the inside of the fridge and luckily, the trays are cedar so the fridge already smells like a humi. Here is the link to the thread about the fridge: http://www.cigarpass...showtopic=71129

Thanks guys!

I'm no wine expert but you may want to make are that the shelves are Spanish cedar and not regular cedar as there is a differance between the two. I know it is said that plan cedar can change the flavor of your cigars. As for seasoning there is a guide on the home page on how to season your humidor. Check that out and get yourself some beads they seem to be the way everyone goes with a winodor.

Good luck

Paul

You can also search and look in the humidor section.

Clean it and add cedar....seasoning the cedar.
