Sit Your Ass Down & HERF Pass

(Bringing BOTL's Together Since The Spring of 2012)

Rules for Participation:

• Participants must HERF in groups of 2 or more
• Take a picture of the HERF and post in this thread for the other passers to see

Pass Rules:

• Equal puts for Equal Takes when it comes to pricing…or as close as you can get. NC's for ISOM's and vice versa is okay with me. All trades are PRE-APPROVED, so I just ask that good judgement be made, as you won't be looking up exact pricing while at a HERF.
• Upon receiving the package please inspect the pass and make sure the humidity is fine. If for some reason the hygrometer is acting fishy, make sure the cigars aren't dried out and cracking and nothing is damaged or missing. So, do an inventory on not only the cigars and numbers, but make sure they are all there.
• The individual who is responsible for the pass will post the P/T's when the HERF is over, therefore each group knows what is in-bound and what they could take to the HERF's to make trades.
• Unlimited amount of P/T’s, after all, we have to make this worth everyone’s while.
• If at all possible, try to prevent putting a double into the pass…if the cigar you were going to use as a put is already in there, try to find another suitable put. Everyone deserves to have the same variety to choose from that you did.
• Always ship with a tracking number and post it in the thread notifying the members that the pass is on the road!
• If the box is in bad shape, please replace it before sending it on to the next person...though I don't see this one being an issue for this pass.

Teaser: This pass will require you to HERF with at least one other person on the board to participate. All trades are pre-approved, so I'm putting a lot of faith in the participants to make good judgement decisions...but that should be easier since you have to do them in front of your peers.

It would be awesome if the large HERF groups all participated, and photos were taken of the HERF's. There will be minimal shipping since the pass will go to groups and not individuals...though someone in the group would have to be responsible.

So, start picking some partners/ groups and putting in to participate. This is a new concept to me, and is the brain child of the Houston HERF crew. The pass will end with the Houston guys HERF.

I'd still like to maintain the 4 month rule, but if a new guy goes to a HERF with some more seasoned members...then of course they can participate.

This pass is all about the experience of being a BOTL.
