B&M man practically insisted I buy one. Anyone tried it? Any thoughts? He has it at $14.

I paid the same for them and found it to be a really tasty smoke. It was a little more mild than I most LFD, but I would say it was a medium-full smoke with a unique profile.

I'd recommend trying at least one. I have a few in the humi waiting for warmer weather.

factory Press IV is a great smoke, but it's pretty expensive as well. I'd much rather be smoking a good Padron 1964 for that money.

I also bought a 5er... I think that the 4 is good not great, but i thought that about all of the other factory presses as well. But i will say that they have all become spectacular over time. Especially the 2, so here's to a little age creating a fantastic smoke.

Smoked it tonite finally. Put it down after the first 1/3. Draw was so tight I felt like I had a headache coming on.

May pick up another and see if I just got a bad one, because the fiancée loves the smell of this one. Only one she likes the smell of better is the 5 Vegas Relic.

I do agree, for the money I'd rather smoke a Padron or an Anejo.

Edit: I picked it back up after posting, and the ash is dropping every half inch or so, on it's own. Seems very fragile. Draw still sucks, but the favors are GREAT.

I just had the III, and I wasn't impressed. Probably my least favorite LFD to date.

I have to join the nay crowd. Of all the LFD's, this does not compare up,there with the rest, but you probably, still need to,try it for a reference point.

I think that B&M's really try to push these cigars because the quantity of cigars they come in per-box is a lot, from what I understand. If I'm not mistaken, I think each box/case comes with 120 cigars.

I haven't tried one, but I heard they were good. Very strong cocoa/coffee profile, according to the owner of the B&M. They were also $14 at my local B&M, which was part of the reason I passed and bought something else. As for the shape, the press on these cigars are INSANE. Sharpest 90 degree edges I've ever seen on a cigar in my life!!

I am a real fan of LFD and the box press is one of my favorites. I have a bunch of the III and just bought a 12 pack of the IV. I found it to be a very good after dinner cigar.

While the shape may be a bit unusual, I have found they round out about half way through. I use a Shuriken cutter on them and the draw is usually perfect.

Over the past few years I have begun to favor LFD over Padron (yes, I know that is heresy) and the Small Batch is one of my ATF's. Just my 2 cents.
