I glanced down at my watch and observed that March is almost drawing to a close. This thought was followed by the realization that quite nearly two years ago, I joined Cigar Pass. The generosity, wisdom and commiseration I experienced here helped get me through a deployment and taught me to be generous with my cigars and cautious with my opinions. :laugh:

As way to share the love, I've ginned up a couple easy contests:

For the super noobians, those who've joined in the last 358 days, I have three of my rarest, most valuable and HTF in a lovely Xicar carrying case for whomever can tell me what I was doing in August of 2010 and why.

For everyone else, those who aren't in the above group, I have a delectable fiver of my very best for whomever can tell me the significance of "720."

Both of these contests expire when someone tells me a correct answer or when the evening of 29 March 2012 passes in which case I'll pick the answer that is the most amusing, so even if nobody gets the right answers, at least they should be hilarious, right? :D

Keep on smokin' em, BOTLs. :thumbs:

Congrat's on sticking around for 2 years, It's members like you that make this place what it is ( the best cigar family on the Net ).

720 is 2 full rotations while standing ( and drunk ) and balancing a broom on your nose while looking up. You do 3 " 720's " drop the broom and try to run in a straight line, now thats some funny shit to watch when your drunk.

A winnah! At least close enough; I was in Australia on leave in August 2010, one of the better trips I've ever been on. And no, I didn't let Aussie Shaun know I was coming; Australia is a big country and didn't make plans to visit Brisbane though I do plan to go back. Tall Paul almost got it but I was looking for a reference to Leave or R&R. Thanks guys!
