i have 2 box the cuban cigars for selling the box conteiner 25 cigars cohiba siglo IV the price is 240 dollars for box or call me to my number is 602-718-7457

Am I safe in posting this? add is 6 weeks old so probably not pulled. I have to assume these are counterfeits. But the boxing looks pretty close. I found this box set up 2 ways all over the net. One opening from the top, the other opening at the bottom. I would assume one is not correct and the price is too low. But wish I could see whats inside.

Fakes pure and simple. Craiglist, Cubans, Cohiba, price and location what else could be wrong?

I don't understand why people keep looking on craigslist for CC's.

The price is actually too high. Most counterfeits I've seen go for far less - unless they're being sold to someone who doesn't know any better.

If there's anything I've learned, it's that you can trust strangers on the Internet. Buy 'em!

I realise those are 99.9999999% counterfeit but the packaging is pretty good, Hologram, green stamp etc. I would like to see how good the micropriting is, and what the sticks look like. I realise anytime you are buying ISOMs its all about trusting your source. I am just not sure how trusting I am, even though I realise a "trusted sourse" has a lot to lose by selling something not kosher I am still not particularly trusting.

so funny, when I start looking at what I have and wondering why something from a legit source looks funny then you find its been covered here before.

Guys, try and remember that Cuba has the worst quality control of any country making cigars. I have been in the Cohiba factory and the Partagas factory and let me tell you, they could care less about their cigars. If the vendor is legit and has a great rep then do not worry about things like band and box anomalies, I have seen incredible discrepancies over they years and the cigars were always real. Do not worry about wrapper colors because they could care less what colors they put in a box. Expect plugged cigars because they think it is funny that their customers lose a lung trying to draw one of their plugged cigars. Just make sure the source is legit and do not obsess about the totally wacked out presentations.

Not sure why you're asking anyone's opinion about whether we think they're fake or not - since it seems you already have everything figured out!

Carry on!!! :whistling:

Oh, no - I don't know that it's true they don't know better. I believe it's more like they don't WANT to know better... ;)

Let's assume someone has a real box they got from a legit source, and a few oxes of fakes they're looking to unload. What's stopping someone from putting up a crap-resolution 400x400 pixel pic of the legit box? and then sending out the garbage? Regardless of what that pic looks like, the fact that you thought for a moment they may be legit is kinda funny.

Actually that box looks pretty good, I would assume they are counterfeit, as they are on CL. But the box is accurate for what is being sold Siglo IV's, not like they are a glass top. I was searching more today and found that post from "the Master". Pretty much lowers my expectations on anything I get even if its from a "legit source". And makes me re question my interest in ISOM's altogether, course I wont know that for another 3-5 yrs when mine are smokeable or at least smoking better than now.

I have smoked great CC's in the past months and never had a problem with them. Not really sure what you mean by yours arent smokeable, I guess it depends on where you got them from in the first place but there are tons of people on here that are perfectly happy with the CC's they smoke. You shouldn't raise or lower your expectations just because you read something on CP.

If this reply is to me, I did not buy these the add is 6 weeks old. The box looks good though and makes wonder if other stuff I have picked up from "trusted sources" is legit. When I open up the boxes and whats inside does not meet up with expectations. You read on CA them raving about a Partagas P2 or the Monte #2 being a "legend" or some shit and for what you just paid for a box its just like "WTF" Course its not what they look like but how they smoke I am told.

Someone who has bought more CC's than me can correct me if I'm wrong but every box I have opened up looks golden to me. I'm not sure why you are having such bad luck with yours

Maybe you just don't enjoy the taste of young, large ring gauge cc's as a whole, or your palate has not developed enough yet. I remember when I first got ahold of some cc's, I didn't find a "wow!" factor in them, but eventually I came to know what I like in them.

If you don't trust your source AND know what you should taste in cc's, you are just going to be left with a bad experience.
