This one is tough. Doc Watson passed away yesterday, after a fall and colon surgery at the age of 89. Besides being one of the greatest at what he did, he was just a sweet man. http://www.dailymail...o=feeds-newsxml

Ugh, this year has been one for losses. I've been checking in on his progress via CNN as they've had somewhat updated articles posted periodically. Definiely will be missed.

First we lose Earl Scruggs in March, now Doc Watson.... sad, sad indeed! I may just have to put on the Bluegrass after this The Band's "Last Waltz" DVD ends...
