My 1st attempt at buying and storing cigars!

Hair wine cooler $108
Cedar trays (qty 4) $10 each + $15 shipping
Hydrometer $20
one pound humidity beads w/bag (65% from heartfelt) $35

Total $218.00

Maintains 65-68% humidity without any issues. I have the temp set at 65 degrees and will stay there unless it is cool outside and then it can dip to 60-63 degrees. Never seen it lower!
Only issue is that i have my trays fairly full. But i have about 150 cigars on order. Should have got a larger unit, but for the price i could not beat it.

OK, here is the pics!

Looks good. One question though, where are you keeping the beads?

If you look at the last picture with the shelf's empty you can see the mesh bag tied to the back of the bottom one. It is full of humidity beads (1lb)! The reason i placed the bag there and not on the bottom is I figured there is more surface area exposed with it hanging there. The bottom and the top of the mesh bag are exposed instead of just the top and side. I don't know if it makes a difference but in my mind (engineer) it made sense to me.

I bought the mesh bag with the beads through heartfelt.
