Family Vacation is taking me to Kiawah Island in a week and a half. I was wondering is anyone knows where any (good) cigar shops might be?
Also, how is the golf and scuba diving? I'm actually considering taking some golf lessons while I'm down there as my game needs a little sharpening. Any recommendations?

Lastly, and probably the most important for the Family's view, what are good restaurants to check out? Any Micro breweries?
Thanks a lot.
Jon

I have been there a couple of times. Really nice place - Be sure to play the ocean course - they are playing the PGA there this year. It is a brutal test of golf - especially from the back tees. Enjoy and stay cool.

You're going to be around the corner from Charleston, and there's quite a few good B&Ms to be found. As for microbrews and eating, it's charleston, so there's lots of both. I'd suggest King Street Grille, or Poe's on Sullivan's island. I'll pm you my number, so that if you need to find something you have local help.

You've got that right.

In Charleston, Slightly North of Broad is a great restaurant right in the heart of things. If you have kids in tow (or not), Fleet Landing is a nice little spot in Charleston. In general all of the restaurants in Charleston are excellent. There's a place called Gilligan's on the way out to Kiawah that I liked but I haven't been there in several years.

Kiawah is great. Actually, the whole area is. Have fun!!!
