I know I'm reaching but would anyone know where I can find some Pappy Van Winkle preferably in CA Bay Area?

I hear someone has 65 cases of PVW 20 anyone know their name?

Craig's List has many ads selling for upwards of 20 times retail depending on the year.  You should also consider some of those are fakes.

I called yesterday a Liquor store in Whiteplains NY and they had 2 bottles, one of the 12 years for $995 and the 15 years for $1,599. Talk about over priced. Makes appreciate even more the 12 year bottle I have had for almost 6 years, and funny thing is that one day I just walked into Stew Leonard's to do groceries and went to the liquor store there and saw they had a few bottles and just grabbed one. If I only knew these things were going to be so hard to come by I would've picked up a couple for resale lol

I think my days of hunting Pappy are over after this year. There's a couple of places where I might get on lists, but no more chasing the stuff around. Even BTAC was almost impossible to find...

If you've had Pappy before and are into spending 200$+ - go for it!

There are some great Bourbons out there that are a hell of a lot more affordable.  Have fun hunting.

How did your bottle last 6 years?

Because I haven't opened  . And yes, I have tasted it before, this is actually the second bottle I purchased, the first one was gone the same day I bought it.
