Anyone have any info / thoughts on this one?  The local pusher here is making a big hoopla out of its release.  I can't find much info in regards to the juice itself just a whole bunch of marketing hype.  Wondering if this as "special" as the local liquor store rep is stating or just marketing BS.

I know value is subjective but, if the juice is excellent or rumored to be very good I'll probably grab is as my Christmas bottle.  If not I'll probably grab the bottle of Highland Park 25 that I have been drooling over.  Just curious if this should bump the HP 25 off the wish list (BTW I haven't had either, yet)  Oh and don't give me any bad thoughts with the buy both.   My BTAC purchases have already stretched the budget.   ;)

Here's a link on the info but, as I said, it is all marketing hype.

NH is the only place that has it and it is limited to 600 bottles so if you miss it, you missed it whereas the HP will be around.  $250 does seem a bit high since the normal Aberlour 16 is $54 but sometimes you gotta take a chance.  Personally, I'd get 2 bottles of Balvenie 17 DoubleWood for $260 or a Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 for $180 and a bottle of Nikka for $64. I'll be looking for a review of whatever you decide.

Ray, as always you are a wealth of information.  I'll have to start posting some reviews.  I am a little more comfortable picking out flavors and distinguishing a profile.

I have a bottle of the Balvenie 17 DW in the bunker.

Been eyeing a few Bottles the Glenfiddich Gran Reserva being one of them, I just finished my bottle of Snow Phoenix and really enjoyed it..  Also been looking at
MIDDLETON RARE IRISH
Glendronach 15yo

I'll have to add the Nikka to my list I've never had any Japanese Whiskey's before.  I'll post my thoughts on which way I go.
