Didn't see that coming. Plus, based on the comments from some Red Sux fans, they seem to think he worked on Wall Street...

You kidding. You didn't seem that coming. It's been expected around here since before the WS. A seven year contract is just over the top for a fragile player of his age. You're going to love watching him play. Every time he gets on base he makes things happen, but he gets hurt a lot and heals slow.

I think you RS fans have all your free agents going everywhere but Boston. 
 
Johnny Damon revisited....without quite as much "flair".

What amazes me though is that Steinbrenner wants the payroll ~175 mil and even though the Mariners name has popped up, from what I've seen, the Yanks are still in line to resign Cano.
 
Ellsburys should have been the 2007 WS MVP. Why they didn't lock him up is beyond me.
