My order has arrived!  Here's what I picked up:

  • Boswell Chocolate Cream
  • Boswell Raspberry Cream
  • Boswell Northwoods
  • Boswell's Best
  • Boswell Berry Cobbler
  • Boswell No Bite Delite
  • Boswell PA Dutch
  • Molto Dolce
They all smell delicious!  I just smoked a small bowl (out of a miniature corncob) of Chocolate Cream, and it tastes great!  I smell like a box of coco puffs, and the aftertaste it leaves is also very chocolatey.

I also picked up several corncob pipes, and a Stanwell Featherweight.

Looking forward to trying the other tobaccos soon.

Very cool. I haven't had any of Boswell's tobacco yet, how's the room note? My wife loves chocolate ;)

Room note is really good. Everyone seems to love it. Boswell makes some of the best aromatics I've ever smoked.

A couple to try - the first is a popular aromatic and the second a very good oriental.

Scotty's Butternut

McClelland Grand Orientals - Yenidje Supreme

I have Scotty's Butternut; it's pretty good.

Haven't tried the Oriental, however I have several varieties of Frog Morton.

The Grand Oriental line each features a different type of Oriental. There's quite a range of blends. Just another aspect.

Is the No Bite Delight an aromatic? I can't seem to get a bead on it.  Sounds like their Aromatics actually taste like the aroma they put out.
I should really order some of their blends. I might actually find an Aro or three that I like.

Yes, it's an aromatic.  Some of their aromatics are more flavorful than others.  I'm impressed by Chocolate Cream so far.  I'll let you know how the other blends taste as I smoke them.

It's a take on the old OTC burleys, which were typically flavored to some degree.

Great buffet of aromatics Rod! I've had Boswell's Best and their Christmas Cookie and they were both great quality aros.  On a side note, if you like cobs you can get a grab bag of 10 Missouri Meerschaum "seconds" for 30 bucks direct from them:

One heck of a deal! I've taken a liking to cobs for my go-to pipes for just putzin' around the house.

Thanks for the tip, I had no idea they sold 2nds! Really good deal.
