But, let me tell you, when it started to hit the halfway point, this cigar completely blossomed into something simply amazing. Teetering on the edge of mildness vanished and the body hit a full medium to full. I have to admit this became one very complex cigar of which flavors I could not quite ascertain. Fresh baled hay, with a delightful woodiness. Possibly flavors of earth intertwining with dark berry fruit. Holy….cow. Going past halfway, I could still detect the buttery flavor, however it turned from toasty to a very rich, dark melba with even more dark, delicious overly ripe sweet fruit. Can you see the smile on my face?? What an amazing smoke!!

Wow Greg!!
GREAT REVIEW!! I often wondered if the Casas were really exceptional, and now I know they really are.
Someday I will be happy to acquire and torch one myself.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice review and cool pics .
Thanks mate
I have smoked a Corona Gorda and it was unbelievably good.
CASA FUENTE..... The "Holy Grail" of cigars for me.

Never really had an interest in trying one of these... until now.

Excellent review. Heading to vegas for just one night next week, will definitely do my best to stop by casa fuente and grab a couple!

Damn nice review! great pictures too

You just answered my Casa Fuente question I posted in another thread.

Thanks ;)

Thanks for the review. I was in Vegas 5 times over the last 6 years, and always make it a point to pop into Casa Fuente. When I was in Vegas last year, I smoked 2 when I was out there, and brought one home. I remember both smokes being great when I had them out there. The one I brought home is still in my humidor - maybe it's time to revisit these beauties and enjoy it!

Greg, I swear that you could do a review on an Acid and make it look and sound good!! Another great review and pics, keep 'em comin'.

I've had about 4 of these cigars and agree 100% with your review. They are exceptional and worth the price for a special ocassion cigar. I have one in my humidor that has been aging for about 3 1/2 years now.

I too agree that these casa's are a phenominal smoke! I had a robusto today and my mouth is still watering just talking about it... a must try to all CPers!

On my last trip to Vegas earlier this month I found myself picking this cigar up time after time, delicious cigar.
