You Learn Something New Every Year Pass aka...This space reserved...

Devin by pass those other fellows and send it to me after your puts.

Good to see you posting and sounds like a great trip in the planning there!

I know how nervous Phil gets when the pass thread is at the bottom of the forum. So, here's a little pick-me-up. :D

Box arrived last Friday and was placed in the walk-in. Unfortunately I was on the road and just returned, so I will get to it later today and ship it out to Gary tomorrow.

My apologies for the delay.

Phil, thank you very much for the invitation!

Gary, the package will be in the mail tomorrow DC# 0103 8555 7495 7988 1564.

I will have to ponder my lesson with CP's member 19 while we are doing a bit of fishing.

Devin yet again you show us that 'behaving like a normal human being' is a totally subjective statement. Thanks for playing and have a great trip!

Nice plays Devin

Turning out to be a great pass so far Phil!

Huh you and No. 19 going fishing? Well you two enjoy.

Very impressive plays as always.

All is well. I'll check things out n detail tonight and get my P/T's done this weekend for Monday shipping!

Enjoy your trip Devin!

aaaaaaaaand that also ends our current contest. I will figure out a winner using some sort of arbitrary decision making process and let you guys know probably early next week when I slow down a bit.

My lesson, believe it or not, has to do with giving romantic gifts. Now, many people here would pin me as a hopeless romantic, but this lesson holds true. It is not the product of my creativity, but I have used it, and it will produce results.
I’ve edited this from its original content, because it was essentially a chat log (not cp chat)

Roses only last like a couple weeks and that's if you leave them in water; and they really only exist to be pretty. So that's like saying, "my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance" But a potato! Potatoes last for f***ing ever, man. In fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow shit even if you just leave them in the sack. That part alone makes it a good symbol, but there's more! There are so many ways to enjoy a potato! You can even make a battery with it! And that's like saying "I have many ways in which I show my love for you" And potatoes may be ugly, but they're still awesome so that's like saying "it doesn't matter at all what you look like, I'll still love you"

I’m not saying you can glaze over an anniversary with just a potato, but if you’re in the kind of relationship that doesn’t put much emphasis on Valentine’s day, or if you want to give a little reminder of your love, attach this little note to a potato, and leave it somewhere she’ll find it. She’ll hold onto that stupid thing until it sprouts, guaranteed.

Thanks for letting me play phil.

Robbie,
I really think you need to give Lithium a go.

Robbie since you weren't in the pass last year I will let that lesson slide but it IS sort of cheating

It's been like, three days now since this landed, add in some travel time, and we've been waiting 5+ days for some proposed puts and takes. Is it not good form to consider and even propose your P/T before the package even lands?

Consider - yes...and I have.
Propose...depends.
Some like to see the goods....but since you'll do just about anything, you can propose in advance! :whistling:

That is quite an incendiary remark towards someone who did their best to keep this pass moving.
