After finishing up the Padron Anniversary Series 1964 Piramide maduro, I’m now moving on to the Natural. The wrapper is a smooth Colorado shade with only slightly noticeable oils and no prominent veins to be seen. I find the weight a bit light in the hand and there’s some give when squeezed between the fingers. I punch the cap and find the draw perfect with a hint of raisin flavor.

I torch the foot and once a good burn is going, I take a slow, long draw. A nice, cinnamon spice hits the back of the throat with the smoke a good mild to medium body. Tastes of toasted almonds, vanilla, and a hint of woodiness come through with a very nice, lasting finish after exhaling through the mouth and nose. Most enjoyable!

The burn is perfect with a dark gray mottled ash forming that holds well. I’m finding the natural wrapper to not be as rich in flavor as the maduro, however the body is much better with a bit more strength to include the smidgen of spice coming through. Although not as rich, it is still sweet and delicious with an excellent finish.

As the day winds down and the sun drifts behind the tree line, the temperature drops quickly and my fingers and nose are freezing. With a little over halfway through, the body of the smoke picks up a notch to a good medium with rich toasted almond and vanilla bean flavors. The burn continues to be sharp with a strong, medium gray ash and perfect draw. Plenty of smoke is pouring freely from the embers with a lasting, sweet finish on the palate.

I have to say, if there was a way to combine the strength and spice of the natural with the richer tasting maduro, that would be one fantastic smoke. I will have to admit; I enjoyed the natural better, however both were excellent.

FANTASTIC! Excellent pics as always. I was wondering what to smoke later on at the card game. I think I found the answer.

Love the review. I happen to have one of these resting and now am even more eager to smoke it. I've only had the 1926 No. 6 in the Anni line and thought it was fantastic with a more subtle blend of flavor than the maduro. Have to say, though, that nothing beats a 1964 Imperial maduro.

Great review, I haven't had one of these in a couple of years, forgot how much I like them. I see some in my future.

Nice review Greg and as usual the pics are perfect. The 64 and 26 series are my weapons of choice and to have a 'double Padron' day, well it just doesnt get any better.

Thanks for the review

I have yet to enjoy either the nattie or the maduro. They look delicious!! Great review.

A painter hangs his or her finished pictures on a wall, and everyone can see it. A composer writes a work, but no one can hear it until it is performed. Professional singers and
wow power leveling players have great responsibilities, for the composer is utterly dependent on them. A student of music needs as long and as arduous a training to become a performer as a medical
wow gold student needs to become a doctor. Most training is concerned with technique, for musicians have to have the muscular proficiency of an athlete or a ballet dancer. Singers
wow goldpractice breathing every day, as their vocal chords would be inadequate without controlled muscular support. String players practice moving the fingers of the left hand up and
wow power levelingdown, while drawing the bow to and fro with the right arm—two entirely different movements.
wow gold
Singers and instruments have to be able to get every note perfectly in tune. Pianists are spared(free of ) this particular anxiety, for the notes are already there, waiting
power levelingfor them, and it is the piano tuner’s responsibility to tune the instrument for them. But they have their own difficulties; the hammers that hit the string have to be coaxed
wow goldnot to sound like percussion, and each overlapping tone has to sound clear.
wow gold
This problem of getting clear texture is one that confronts student conductors: they have to learn to know every note of the music and how its should sound, and they have to aim
wow gold at controlling these sound with fanatical but selfless authority.
wow gold
Technique is of no use unless it is combined with musical knowledge and understanding. Great artists are those who are so thoroughly at home in the language of music that they can enjoy performing works written in any century.
