Had an excellent BOTL from another board hook me up with a handful of these little firecrackers. ( :D ) These actually look like they have maduro wrappers, very smooth and loaded with oil, almost remind me of a little Cohete. There’s a long pigtail made out for the fuse with the wrapper covering up the foot. The pigtail comes off easily and with the cap punched I find no resistance in the draw at all, very loose.

After torching the foot and getting a nice burn going, I take a couple puffs and a short slow draw. I was expecting a lot of spice and power in the first draw, however to my surprise the smoke was quite smooth, yet still full-bodied. Tastes of delicious vanilla come through with a nice worn leather on the palate. This thing is really good! There’s definitely some spice, but not overpowering at all.

The burn was good with a strong whitish gray ash forming. Although the draw was quite loose, it still worked well and smoke poured freely from the hot, orange embers that glowed from the fire. This was obviously a short smoke, however was really good to the end. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Hmmm.... the new band? Interesting. Mine have the old one. Hopefully they didn't change the blend too much.

Very cool looking smoke, I haven't seen these around anywhere. Can they be found for purchase?

This is the only place I've seen em online. Reasonable price, too. Though, I don't know if they're reputable or not...

Another great review, Greg!

This is a great little stick for when I go to take the dog for a walk in the morning.. 30 minutes, just enough time for me to smoke and not have to put a cigar out

That is a very interesting little cigar. I'll have to watch out for those. Thanks for the review Greg!

You have no reason to worry about buying from 2guys smokeshop. The owner David is a wonderful person to talk to and a great retailer as well.

I grabbed a fiver of these a few weeks back too. A nice little power smoke. My only complaint, the "wicks" are fragile.

That’s funny Mike (Looking for Knowledge) just hooked me up with 1 on the blind review pass
Can’t wait to burn it up :D

Very interesting and inviting smoke! While I've had more than my share of DPG Blue Labels, I've never had one of those. As for the new labels, I don't have any yet as the boxes I have are from 2-3 years ago. However, while I doubt the label have a bit of difference in the smoke, they do look better. I never really liked the old labels, although that certainly never kept me from smoking them like a chimney.
