    That's a great idea with the cutting boards MM! Little safer on the digits :) The plugs are great and age really well, but can be a little tough to slice. Well worth the effort though!

    Clenching can be easier depending on the design of the stem, how heavy the pipe is, where you hold it in your mouth/teeth, etc. I have some pipes I can clench and smoke comfortable, and some there is no way.     Isn't that the truth! I was fortunate enough to pick up the last few tins I needed to complete my collection of the years of Christmas Cheer. Starting in 2017, I should be able to open up a 25 year old tin of Christmas Cheer each year to ring in the holiday season!
