I think the Trinidad robusto extra is the same size as a siglo vi and is quite nice too, though similarly priced to Cohiba.

IMHO, with some age, they're fantastic (still a little overpriced) but if young (ie under 1 yr) I think they're nothing special.

I have enough room in my humi for a box of 4.5" smokes, this works out well since I really need something that can be smoked quickly here and there. I was thinking Partagas shorts but apparently that one is a headspinner, I need something mild enoough to smoke on an empty stomach..TIA.

Is floor space at a premium? For the money, I think you could get better value buying a separate humi and wine fridge.

I purchased the Xicar earlier this yr, as my first cutter that cost more than 5 bucks. I have no regrets, it's done a great job and every cigar smoker I know has commented positively on it. I'll buy one or two more in the future, just so I have one everywhere I go...has great a great feel.

Sorry if this has been covered often already, but why are most going with 65% beads when everywhere I read is a 70% recommend humidity level?

You do make a good point, it isn't right to judge a cigar you've never tried, BUT I have not had many (if any) cheap smokes that I enjoyed. I think not all the brands you mentioned are overpriced, Cusano and Rocky Patel represent good value in my books. Had a Cohiba Siglo vi couple days back...

I think Australia makes the best of the best when it comes to Shiraz. Penfolds, Grant Burge, and Rufus Stone are some good ones.

I'm a diehard trappist fan. The very best (and most elusive) is the Westvleteren 12 and 8, simply amazing but if ya find some it'll likely be about $10 per bottle, I think the 12 is 10% and the 8 around 8%. Consensus is that the 12 is the world's best beer, having tried many I agree...

The coolider doesn't appeal to me, looks count. I just don't see myself needing more than a good sized desk top. I've heard a humi should be closer to full than empty to function properly as well.
