So my homemade humidor has been pretty stable at 67-68% and 64 degrees.   A buddy of mine keeps his at 75% and 68-70 degrees.  Wouldn't that be a bit warm and wet?

Opened my cabinet today and got hit w smell of ammonia. I assume it's from fermentation Does it eventually go away or anything that can be done?

I just got a box of 15 No. 2's from isom and wondered how they compared to the Dominican Monte No. 2.   I looked on cigar.com and dominican's were like 295 for a box of 25.  Strange that they were more than the cc.  Are they better?

Which is worse for storing your cigars...  humidity being too low or high or the temp being too low/high?     I checked my humidor after I moved it to the basement and I was at 63F and 62% humidity.   Put some more water in my humidity sticks as I think they dried out over the week of vacation...

Justo finishing my first Cuban no.2. 2 hrs. Wow. Worth the 17.00. Although I may be ripped from it.

I don't have a travel humidor. What is the best way to travel w your sticks? Not flying. Just driving. Thanks!

Hey everybody!  New to the site.     Central IL   Craft beer lover/homebrewer/ own brewery in planning   Financial planning by day.....  Beer by night.   Love to smoke when I get the opportunity and don't have to see my wife!    

First time poster...     I have this old jewerly stand I got from my Aunt when she died.  Never knew what to do with it... well this site has given me the idea to turn it into a humidor.   Got my luan wood last night.   Now just need to measure and cut and see what type of shelves I can do it...
