It's been a great 8 years here on the best cigar community on the web. I've made a lot of great friends and learned more about cigars than I ever could have imagined.

Thanks to everyone for having me around, and to Rod for keeping CP going. I love this place and hope to be around for many more.

Just a quick easy contest to say thanks.

The first post to answer both questions correctly will get some sticks from me. Only one guess per member and I'm not giving clues. It's easy enough as it is.

1. What cigar am I smoking in this picture?
2. Name the artist who created the painting depicted on my coffee mug.

Thanks again all, long live CP!

1. A Padron
2. Calvin & Hobbes!

LOL!  I know I know, just messin' around.  Huge congrats on the anni!  Been a fun ride so far, looking forward to the rest of it!

Congratulations on your 8 years!

The cigar you are smoking is a Padron 1926 No. 9 and the artist of the mug is Stephen Huneck.

Padron 1926 #35
Artist is tough. I'm going to guess Ryan Fowler.

Congratulations on 8 years!

Contest hog! :sign:

Well, if it's not a Padron 1926 # 9 It's a #1 that has been smoked down which is going to have to be my guess.

The artist is indeed Stephen Huneck.
Congrats Wyatt!

Padron 1926 #9 maduro
Artist is Stephen Huneck

Congrats Bro!

Some good guesses....though no complete correctness yet.

Ah what the hell, if you've already guessed once, go ahead another time. I make the rules here.

Is that a VPR mug?

Doc

The art is Stephen Huneck, one of my favorite artists. He does dog art and owned a piece of property in Vermont he called Dog Mountain.

Sadly he took his own life a few years ago, and his wife has since passed as well.

I've been to Dog Mountain and find it quite the dog lovers sanctuary. Also sadly, the property is at risk of being turned over due to family debt. The sale of his art prints and donations is all that's keeping it alive.

I have many prints, some signed, in my home.

PM me that addy for some sticks bro.
Man! You've got some small hands Wyatt. I would have sworn that was a #9.

The ash looked like it hadn't been tapped yet, so I was pretty sure. I smoke those pretty regular. Glad he didn't make us say Natty or Maddy cause that is sometimes hard to tell. I love both though. Natty a bit more complex, imo.
