They found us big-time. Maybe a change to the user naming rules would slow them down a bit. They love mixing caps and lower case. Rod, can you limit upper case name characters? Just a thought. Also, limit number of characters?

How hard is it to make a new member wait 24 hrs to post something? Any folks in the know; would that be effective to any degree?

One forum I looked at would only allow new members so many posts a day for the first 30 days. Another one all new member posts had to be approved by admin. I would think the site permissives would need to be set for that.

I thought that when I first joined I was granted read only for a little while maybe a few days then was grated the ability to post. I thought that was reasonable.

They usually don't post much but they do seem to multiply like bunnies once they find you.
