My current set-up is an acrylic humidor jar (with standard cedar bottom) and I use 69% boveda packs. My friend keeps trying to argue that anything acrylic and boveda packs are a poor solution. He says nobody uses no cigar experts would use acrylic humidors and boveda packs only last 5-15 days. That seems the opposite from what other people in the cigar industry have told me and boveda's website. I have heard my current set-up is equally as efficient as a wooden humidor with temperature control setting, but my friend strongly advised against my current set-up and suggested wooden temp control humidor with beads only. Please helps us settle our debate. Thanks fellas! Thoughts?
