Any experience with car air purifier ionizers?

I ran across this today and know nothing about it but I did like the price enough to consider it. Any thoughts? I have a midsize car with cloth seats in which I don't smoke but the smoke smell from my clothes still linger in the car.

Damn thing has 105 out of 114 ratings which are either four or five star. Although it makes some outlandish claims in the title description which are almost comical (Minimize the risk of Bird Flu, Avian Influenza i.e H5N1, H7N9 and even helps to decrease stress, blood pressure and skin temperature) I just want the thing to remove some cigar smell. For the cost of a week of Starbuck's coffee, I'm going to give one a try. The only drawback I see is you would need a car outlet which runs continuously even when ignition is off unless you just want it running when your actually driving.
