CA Prop 29 DEFEATED

With all of California’s precincts partially or fully reporting, 50.8 percent of voters voted against the referendum while 49.2 percent voted in favor- a difference of about 63,000 votes between the yes’s and no’s.

Did you ever notice the always mention cigarettes to fuel the fire and still lost... A VICTORY for CA Cigar smokers and a huge thanks to the CRA for all their hard work to defeat this proposition.

I saw that also. My local pretty much shut down still, Brentwood decided that they wanted to make the owner either allow smoking or alcohol. He couldn't do both anymore, so after 5 years he decided that he was going to leave the cigar world and focus on the bar aspect of the business...

So glad to hear that voters might have actually read the prop instead of just watching a TV commercial and making a judgement based off of that.
