Hey yall, I haven't really seen much conversation on these little gems. So i decided to make a post. I recently got ahold of several pre-embargo era "Clear Havana" cigars. I didn't really know what Clear Havana Cigars were until recently and I've been smoking cigars for 10 years now. Basically, they were cigars rolled here in the states from tobacco imported from Cuba. They smoke really well and are honestly some really awesome smokes. If any of yall have some Clear Havanas in your collection post what you have! Any of yall who know some history on these kind of cigars please chime in!

They're called clear Havana's because the weigh master hollered "CLEAR" when it was time to move the pallet of tobacco from the scale.
I clearly (pun tended) remember them in my grandparents' store as a young boy. They were the expensive ones. .50 and up.
