Hi Mates.
We celebrate this day here every year as we lost so many in WW1. My Granddad was a returned soldier from WW1 as was two uncles. Fortunately they all returned home. Although uncle Jack returned via Aussie and stayed there AWOL and was never seen in New Zealand again. The only news we had of him was his medical record sent to my Grandmother. Which listed him as having a nasty STD.......
Granddad was machine gunned down his back but survived to live a ripe old age. I remember him well, he was a huge man with a huge whisky pock marked nose,LOL.
Anyway. To all the Servicemen and Women still serving. Thanks, and Stay Safe.
I will be raising my glass tonight in Honer of the fallen.

Keep smiling mates and remember we are free because of the sacrifice of others.

I applaud you anvil, thanks for this post. My grandfather was a sailor so I also give my thanks.
Crazy sh*t our grandparents went through, we've got it good because of them.
