Just finished checking out @JoeMO ’s post about his favorite cigars he smoked in 2021. It was fun to see what he/everyone listed as their favorites. It will also serve as a great resource to new folk or people looking to change up their rotation. I thought it would be cool to do the same thing with pipe blends. It doesn’t have to be tobacco produced in ‘21. Just your favorites that you frequently smoked last year.

My top favorites (in no particular order):

Samuel Gawith - Broken Scotch Cake
Samuel Gawith - Full Virginia Flake
McClelland - Christmas Cheer ‘15
Peterson - Royal Yacht
Peterson - Irish Whiskey
Peterson - Nightcap
MacBaren - Old Dark Fired
Escudo - Navy de Luxe
Esoterica - Penzance
Balkan Sasieni
SPC - Plum Pudding Special Reserve Flake
SPC - Mississippi River Rum Barrel Aged
GL Pease - Quiet Night
GL Pease - Westminster
C&D - Bayou Morning
C&D - Pirate Kake
C&D - Spark Plug
Hearth & Home - Blackhouse

I know exactly what you mean about the haunted bookshop.

Over the years, my appreciation for Virginia tobacco has really wained. Also, any blend too heavy in PG/glycerin/glycol is no longer tolerated well. So, I'm mostly smoking cigars and my own whole-leaf pipe blends. However, honorable mention goes out this year to D&R Two Timer, OJK Blue Label, Uhle's Blend 00 and 5 Brothers for many a morning's smoke.
