This will be a high end nature pass. Seeing as I (and many of you) like to play some "high stakes" poker, it only seems appropriate that the nature of the pass be the same. In recent years I've had and developed a love for poker. The competition is tough, and the mental concentration required to play the game properly is unmatched. During this pass we will have plenty of time to discuss bad beats, huge pots, what's going on in the world of poker, poker books, etc. There is a lot of knowledge to be shared, and who knows...maybe some of us will be able to meet up for a smoke and a night at the tables. I hope you all enjoy the pass, please let me know if you have any questions.
Pass Rules
1) Participants must be a CP member in good standing with 1 successful pass, 3 months’ time on the boards, and live in the US, unless I know them and can vouch for them personally.
2) Equal puts for Equal Takes…that means value for value, rarity for rarity, ISOM for ISOM, etc.
3) P/T’s will be judged by me, and participant knowledge and input on P/T’s will be encouraged.
4) Post P/T’s as soon as you can so they can be reviewed and approved
5) If at all possible, try to prevent putting a double into the pass…if the cigar you were going to use as a put is already in there (brand and vitola), try to find another suitable put.
6) Unlimited amount of P/T’s, after all, we have to make this worth everyone’s while. Please, however, be courteous to other passers when considering what you are taking. For example, if there are only two or three anejos in the pass, don’t take them all.
7) Upon receiving please inspect the pass and make sure the humidity is fine, and nothing is damaged or missing. If there is an issue, please post it in the pass and make all participants aware.
8) Please fill out the papers with the pass, noting which cigars you took…and what you put for them. Use the correct numbers!
9) Before shipping, make sure to contact the next person on the list and make sure they are ready to receive. Always ship with a tracking number and post it in the thread notifying the members that the pass is on the road! It’s not necessary to purchase insurance. Handoffs are allowed and encouraged if it’s possible!
10) This pass is covered by Cigar Pass Insurance.
11) No Greycliffs or Gurkhas (Added 2/23/09, This prevents nice sticks being taken and replaced by sticks easily purchased at 25-50% of "MSRP")

Gamblers Anonymous Contests
This will be a contest for straight up gambling. It's not a requirement to participate, but you can if you so desire. There will be an extra bag included in the pass. If you wish to participate, you will put an additional stick with a retail value of $6 or more. When you post your P/T's you will list your cigar for the contest, and a number will be associated with it based off of the # of participants. The list will be at the front of the thread. At the end of the pass I will break down the cigars into a few samplers and make them as equal as possible value wise. Then I will have a brother that has no affiliation with the pass post multiple random sequences, based on how many samplers there are (with the number of the cigars) and the first number at the top will win! The numbers will be the # of the cigar which you put in for the contest.

I will include 25 Envelopes in the pass, each will be randomly numbered and contain two hole cards. You will not be able to see the whole cards by attempting to look through the envelope....so no cheating
Every pass member will take an envelope and include which envelope number you took when you post your P/T's. When the pass gets home I will have someone run two different flops, turns and rivers. The person with the best hand wins. In case of a tie (two pair with a board pair, kickers don't play, etc.) all winners will receive 5ers.
