I know some of the guys here are into home brewing. I have zero experience and knowledge about this subject. I am looking for a starter kit that is not too pricey, but not something where I have to replace or upgrade everything if I decide to get into yet another hobby. :)

Here is what I am considering:

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

You can brew beer, but where does fishing line and Maduro leaves enter the batch?

I don't brew nearly as often as some others on this board, but that kit will give you pretty much everything you will need to brew for a while. Even if you get really into it, that kit will do you well. The only other thing you need as far as I can tell is a hydrometer. You'll probably want a thermometer, too.

You need a nice fast digital thermometer. Temp is everything, don't skimp and buy a cheap one as it will not measure accurately.

You can check out homebrewtalk. It's one of the biggest forums around and uses Tapatalk! You'll learn tons.

Feel free to call me this weekend, I'll tell you everything you ever wanted to know about homebrewing. Shoot me a PM for info.
