Monster Deal or No Deal?

The Cigar Monster has a Blazer PB207 lighter up
right now. $30 w/ free shipping, that's a deal!

But when I went to checkout it said UPS Ground
shipping is an extra $5. Not so good a deal!

Then I got to thinking...

My stuff ships UPS Ground anyway. Who would
select UPS Air from Easton to Willow Grove?
By the time they drive to the airport, load
the plane and take off, the box could be in
Willow Grove by driving. It's only 40 miles, or so.

So I left the lighter in my cart and logged out.

Now I'll have to find another 'deal' on a Blazer.
I understand that shipping rules require lighters
go by ground, but it has no butane in it! In new
condition there is no fire/hazmat hazard. And all
of my orders from Famous go UPS Ground anyway.

Oh well. Rant off.

They're $35-40 all day long. If you catch a group buy
on this board, or another, you can get them for $30-32,
and you get a choice of color.

I paid $25 for mine, from an online b&m sale.

All of the Blazer's I've bought came with some butane in them, FWIW.

Where I live everything has to come in by air, no UPS ground

I found out if I buy the deals where a specific lighter is included with the cigars, then the vendor will have to ship via USPS or UPS air.

That's how I've gotten my Alec Bradley table top, GOF prometheus, and other assorted lighters from Famous or CI.

My little buddy I got from Rod's GB got hijacked from my wife and I don't think it's coming back.
