Holy shit, this thing is awesome! It's the first time that gaming has given me goosebumps in a decade or more. I had played the PS VR a bit at a buddy's house but you could see the "screen" which made things less realistic. Not an issue with this bad boy AND there are no sensors to set up. It's all-in-one. This thing is a must-have if you're a gamer.

I thought of getting one myself, but was debating on this or waiting for the ps5 availability to rise and then getting the vr with that...

OK because you probably just cost me $400, please explain a little more. I see no computer required, I assume the game download to the headset. Can you play this anywhere as long as you have internet? Will this work for our Virtual herfs??

Games load directly onto the set and they boot up/load damn near immediately. Internet is only a requirement for multi-player games. There are two versions, 64GB ($299) and 256GB ($399) but the games aren't very large at all. I snagged the 256 just in case. It can be connected to a PC to play a couple more hardware dependant titles but 99.9% of the content is playable without. The buddy of mine who had PS VR just picked up an Oculus Quest 2 and sold his PS stuff so that says a lot. He said it's a no brainer. The multi-player games are a blast and you are literally IN the environment. Take a look at some of these titles - Population One, Onward, SuperHot. I've been playing Eleven Table Tennis and it is EXACTLY like the real thing (I played a lot back in the day).

One downside is the battery lasts about 2 hours with heavy play. I bought an 8,000mah battery pack and a jogger's armband to fix that right up.

Edit: Oh yeah, and the Youtube, Internet surfing, ESPN apps are like watching TV on the entire side of your house. As far as HERFing I think everyone would have to use the Oculus meet app. I don't think it runs Skype or similar atm.

Yes, very cool technology, and one of our companies is doing an in-depth examination of the OQ2. Our preliminary findings are that they have the ability to capture everything you save, record and see on the screen, for sure... and we also believe they can capture the sound and video from the cameras and microphone. I personally hate Facebook, and just maybe that “may“ have influenced my decision to launch this investigation... 😊

Well, the jokes on them. If I get one I plan to use this exclusively for porn and watching replays of Brads Exams. They are going to wish they didn’t ease drop on me

100% agree! Infact, the name of this brand is something I will never google again. It will 100% track you on all your devices with ads for months! Same with the name of that company that makes the virtual bike riding workout machines....don't ever search that either!! I think they will even invade your dreams at night with popup ads that you can't skip like you can on youtube.

And you don't even have to search them...just say the name a few times and wait to see the fun :) Its like Beatlejuice.
