The official date is May 26-28.
Set in stone...no turning back

The 1st official Cigarpass herf will be on May 27th, with event for interested members on the 26 and 28th

this event will be at the Polo Towers in Las Vegas nevada

A lottery will be done at the herf, with lots of great prizes to be given out!!!

A good old fashioned cigar swap will also be presented for your viewing and smoking pleasure!!!

a texas hold em Tournament will be held on Sunday time and place premtting

you may RSVP with me via pm whenever you wish..so I can start getting catering proposals...

I would change it again..becuase there is really nothing that says I cant change it..but that would not be right (and people would get angry if I kept changing the dates)!!!

I changed it..Turns out mothers day weekend is booked for alot of stuff we wanted to do....date is changed..sorry everyone..I know I suck, but that was probably the worst weekend I could have all year next to christmass...I just guess on a date...and when I called some places today about an event...they were all booked

March was my preference, but Mothers Day is a no no. So I have to see you guys another time or 2007.

So where is everyone else planning on staying. It would be cool for a majority of us to stay in the same hotel or general area.

I am staying at IMperial Palace or Harrah's. I get casino rates and free nights from those places. Plus they are right smack dab in the middle of the strip.

Okay, neither of those dates work for me. So...

Looks like I'll be visiting during the weekend of May 19 - 21. KiltedCraftsman and my brother (username: theHatGuy) may be flying in that weekend also.

So, Matty (and any other LV BOTLs), are you up for a mini-herf during that weekend?

Actually, I work 2 of the days, and it is during the best King fishing time... I'll have to REALLY think about this one.

One one hand, I'd love to go, meet some of the guys, smoke some great cigars, see some fabulous women (that WHAP sound was my wife hitting me...) and who knows what else.

on the other hand, it is KING SALMON SEASON!! And if I don't get my limit, that means less smoked fish to send to you bastids! :laugh: If I take any time off around that time, it's usually to go fishing...

Not distract from the "official" times nor the great effort that friend Matty is putting into the CP herf, but me and Ms. B.B.S. are going to be in Veags starting 2-26 and for a couple of nights following (had to go then, due to my dear wife's schedule). Any locals / near locals that want to hook up and herf one of those night would be very cool. I'll post a seperate thread but methinks the PM of the 26th would be very opportune for a get together.

Sorry I can't make the official time; I'll put some additonal effort into that next year.... :cool:

I know... I know! it's just hard to miss the best fishing, for the best fish! But I am going to see what I can do. Problem is, EVERYONE pretty much fishes on the dept, so leave for that time is already gone (we pick a year in advance every Nov). So it'll be trying to find someone to cover my shifts while agreeing to cover theirs at a later date- which usually means another good fishing time or hunting season... :(

But if I start now I might get lucky...
 
I'm going to try to make it, but can't commit right now (I don't even know what part of the country I'll be living in then). Maybe I could make it a week late birthday present to myself. :cool:

Looks like I'll be there during the herf weekend after all. Just made reservations for me and the wife. :D

theHatguy and his wife are also flying in from DC. :thumbs:
 
Will let you know by the end of the week if this will work for me. It looks good so far!
